Overview

CrewLAB’s Spring Splash Challenge is designed to keep athletes engaged and provide all the tools needed to track training and stay connected throughout the off-season.

CrewLAB gives your team a private space to share training logs with photos, like and comment on others’ posts, and track training through an automatic point system.

This keeps training transparent among the team, allowing athletes to hold each other accountable and stay motivated through friendly competition.

Details

The challenge begins on April 21st and ends on June 1st. All existing CrewLAB app users will be automatically enrolled and grouped into squads (smaller teams within the whole roster).

If you are new to CrewLAB and sign up after April 21st, you will be automatically enrolled in the challenge but will need to create squads manually. Coaches or captains can do that using the CrewLAB web portal. Watch a tutorial on how to create squads here.

On April 21st, the Analytics tab in the CrewLAB app will switch to display the challenge’s progress and leaderboard points. All squads in your team will be displayed in a chart and compete against each other.

At the end of the challenge, the winning squad, top athletes, and those most engaged with team photos and likes will be celebrated in a Spring Splash recap.

“CrewLAB made it easier to start those 1:1 conversations with my teammates about training”

How The Leaderboard Works

Athletes earn points based on the minutes spent in different workout types, with each type contributing uniquely to the score.

  • For the first hour of training completed each day, point earnings are boosted by 33%.
  • For the third hour of training completed each day, point earnings will be reduced by 50%.
