We may also receive information about you indirectly from other CrewLAB users, such as messages, comments, or feedback they provide through the platform.

This information is collected and used solely to operate, maintain, and enhance the Services, improve the user experience, and facilitate safe and effective interactions among users. CrewLAB does not share personally identifiable information collected in this way with third parties for their own marketing purposes without your consent, except as required by law or to protect the safety and integrity of the platform.

How CrewLAB Uses Information

CrewLAB uses the information we collect and receive to operate the Services and to customize them for you. For example, with your consent, we may use your heart rate information and other fitness data to provide you with performance analysis and insights. Health data is used solely for the Services and will not be used for advertising or marketing purposes. Apple Health data is used solely for providing fitness tracking services, workout analysis, and health management features within CrewLAB. We may also use other devices or sensor data to enhance your experience and provide personalized training guidance.

Subject to your privacy controls, your information, including parts of your profile, username, photos, members you follow and who follow you, clubs you belong to, your activities, the devices you use, and likes and comments you give and receive, may be shared within CrewLAB so that you may participate in the Services, for example to show your place on leaderboards or participate in team challenges. Certain profile information, such as your name or username, may be visible to non-users on the web if you choose to make it public. Your location information, such as city or state, may also be shared in accordance with your privacy controls.

We use the information we collect to process payments, provide support related to the Services, protect members, enforce our Terms of Service, promote safety, and communicate with you, including marketing and push notifications if you have not opted out. We also use the information to analyze, develop, and improve the Services. To do this, CrewLAB may use third-party analytics providers to gain insights into how our Services are used and to help improve functionality, performance, and security. We may use aggregated, de-identified information to support AI or machine learning features that enhance route suggestions, training analysis, leaderboard accuracy, and personalized coaching guidance.

Cookies, web beacons, SDKs, and similar tracking technologies are used to understand how you interact with the Services, improve functionality, analyze trends, measure the effectiveness of features or promotions, and enhance security. These technologies allow CrewLAB to identify devices, remember preferences, and provide a consistent experience across platforms. You can control the use of cookies through your browser or device settings, though disabling certain cookies may limit some features of the Services.

We do not sell your personal information. CrewLAB may anonymize and aggregate the information you and others make available in connection with the Services and post it publicly or share it with third parties. Examples of the type of information we may aggregate include usage patterns, demographics, training routes, and performance metrics. Aggregate information may also be used for research, trend analysis, or to help our partners understand general usage patterns, without identifying individual users.

We may also use information to comply with legal obligations, detect and prevent fraud or abuse, and maintain the safety, integrity, and security of our Services. This includes automated analysis of log files, IP addresses, device identifiers, cookies, and activity patterns to detect unusual or suspicious activity.

CrewLAB may contact you directly regarding your use of the Services, including to notify you about material changes to our policies, important updates, or other administrative matters. These communications are considered part of providing the Services and do not require separate consent.

AI/Machine Learning Transparency

CrewLAB may use automated algorithms, including AI and machine learning, to analyze performance and engagement data and provide insights, recommendations, and analytics to users. These processes are designed to enhance your training experience but do not replace your own judgment or your coach’s guidance. You can opt out of automated decision-making or analysis by contacting us.

Aggregated and De-Identified Data

CrewLAB may aggregate or de-identify personal information for research, analytics, or product improvement purposes. Examples include usage trends, team participation metrics, demographics, and performance data. Aggregated data is not linked to individual users and may be shared with partners, sponsors, or the public to improve services, foster research, or provide insights. Users may opt out of having their data used in aggregated reporting through their privacy settings.

Subsidiaries, Affiliates, and Business Transfers

We may share information with subsidiaries or affiliates that are required to handle your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. In the event of a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, reorganization, or bankruptcy, your information may be transferred as part of the transaction.

Location and Future Features

CrewLAB may offer or expand features in the future that involve location or real-time activity sharing. Any such features will be optional, and you will always have control over whether to enable location-based sharing. We will provide clear privacy controls and transparency before any data is collected, shared, or displayed.

  • Future Options: CrewLAB may provide additional privacy features in the future, including optional location‑sharing controls.

We encourage you to review and adjust your settings to ensure your experience on CrewLAB aligns with your privacy preferences.

Adjust Notification and Email Preferences

CrewLAB provides options to manage the notifications you receive. You can choose not to receive certain email communications by updating your preferences in your account settings. Promotional or marketing emails can be unsubscribed from at any time by following the instructions at the bottom of each email. Where permitted by law, we may invite you to receive marketing communications if you actively use the Services or purchase a subscription. We may also periodically ask if you would like to opt into receiving marketing-related communications.

If you receive marketing communications from one or more of our affiliates or partners, you may need to opt out individually for each brand or entity.

Administrative or service-related emails, such as confirmations of purchases, updates to pricing, delivery of requested training plans, or significant updates to our policies, may not include an option to unsubscribe, as they are necessary to provide the Services you requested. You are responsible for providing CrewLAB with a valid email address and keeping it updated to ensure you receive these essential notifications.

Updating Account Information

You may review, correct, or update your profile or account information at any time by adjusting it in your account settings. If you need assistance or are unable to make the necessary updates yourself, you can contact CrewLAB through our Support Page. We will generally respond to requests to correct or amend your information within 10–14 business days.

Deleting Information and Accounts, and Downloading Your Data

You can download your account data or delete your account using our self-service tools. To download your data, including activity files, follow the instructions on our Support Page.

To delete your account, follow the instructions provided on the same page. After submitting an account deletion request, CrewLAB permanently and irreversibly removes your personal information from our systems, including backups. Once deleted, your account, activities, and leaderboard positions cannot be restored. Full deletion of personal information and system logs may take up to 45 days. We may retain certain information to comply with legal obligations or as otherwise permitted by law.

Please note that CrewLAB cannot remove content you have shared directly or publicly with others, such as segments, photos, or videos posted on third-party platforms, or content others may have copied. Such content may remain available even after your account or data is deleted. Your public profile may also appear in search engine results until the search engine refreshes its cache.

CrewLAB provides the option to remove individual activities you have posted without deleting your account. Once removed, these activities may remain in CrewLAB systems until you delete your account. If you withdraw your consent to CrewLAB processing your health-related information, CrewLAB will delete all health-related information from any future activities you upload.

CrewLAB may also limit how we collect or process personal information of individuals under 18 in accordance with applicable laws and best practices for children’s online privacy.

How We Protect Information

CrewLAB takes the privacy and security of your information seriously. We maintain administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards that are appropriate to the sensitivity of the information we collect, designed to help protect against unauthorized access, use, or disclosure.

You can also help protect your account and information by:

We will promptly investigate the incident, take steps to contain and mitigate any harm, and notify affected users in accordance with applicable laws and regulatory timelines (e.g., within 72 hours for GDPR-covered users). Notification may include information about the nature of the breach, what information was affected, and steps you can take to protect yourself.
