Attendance and RSVPs

Jul 2, 2025

It’s easy to track who’s attending events—and why someone isn’t. Attendance is linked directly to the Calendar. Team Members can indicate on an Event if they will be attending and if not, must provide a reason for missing the Event. RSVPs are visible to all Team Members and can be used to plan sessions more effectively.

How to RSVP

  1. Open an Event from the Calendar.
  2. Set your RSVP to “Yes” or “No.”
  3. If you select “No,” you must type in a reason.

Managing Attendance

Athletes can only RSVP for themselves.

Coaches and Captains can RSVP for any Team Member ahead of an Event, or manage Attendance during or after the Event.

Coaches can additionally view an Attendance report on the CrewLAB website.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between RSVPs and Attendance?

An RSVP is someone’s intent to attend an Event. Attendance can be confirmed afterward—either automatically via workout logs (for Events that have an associated Workout) or manually checked by a Coach or Captain.

Do Team Members have to give a reason when they’re not going to an event?

CrewLAB prompts Team Members to give a reason when RSVPing “No” to ensure clear and transparent communication.

Is attendance tracked automatically?

RSVPs default to “yes” and if a Team Member RSVPs “no”, they are prompted to provide a reason.

What if a Team Member forgets to RSVP?

Coaches and Captains can log attendance for anyone.

Is there a way to separate excused vs unexcused absences?

Notes can be added to an RSVP for context.

Can I see Attendance trends over time?

Team Members can view Accountability metrics on any Team Member’s profile and Coaches can view the Analytics Attendance report.

Can I export Attendance records?

Coaches can view an Attendance report on the CrewLAB website.
