Monday 16 December 2024 – Monday 3 February 2025

The CrewLAB Winter Wipeout Challenge is a 7-week, team-based training competition built to keep athletes motivated and connected through the mid-season holiday. Whether your crew is into rowing, running, swimming, or general fitness, this challenge makes winter training fun, effective, and team-driven.

In other words, it’s a high-energy way to keep momentum going—even when in-person sessions are limited. CrewLAB teams from schools, clubs, and colleges around the world have used Winter Wipeout to build accountability, improve consistency, and boost athlete engagement.

Led by team captains and athletes (and with minimal coach involvement) our CrewLAB Winter Wipeout Challenge, is here to promote accountability in training through friendly rivalry.

How does the challenge work?

The challenge kicks off on December 16 and concludes on February 3.

All users of the CrewLAB app will be enrolled and grouped into squads (smaller teams within the main team) automatically two weeks before the start date, on December 3, 2024.

For latecomers, squad creation can be done manually through the coach/captain portal. Watch the tutorial here.

Starting December 16, the Analytics tab in the CrewLAB app will switch to display the challenge’s progress and leaderboard points, showcasing all squads in a competitive chart.

At the challenge’s culmination, achievements of the winning team, top-performing athletes, and most active contributors will be acknowledged on our socials or with spot prizes.
