2020
- CrewLAB started in order to pursue data analytics for Rowing.
- Marina, Bridget, David and Peter join the CrewLAB family.
2021
- Participated in UCLA’s Start Up Summer Accelerator Program
- CrewLAB gets some Beta Testers (and the app continues to break 😬)
- First customer (AJ Brooks, UCI Mens Crew)
- First team (UCLA Men Rowing)
2022
- Participated in UCLaunch and refocused the platform on building team community.
- Provided a Camp ID system for USRowing that reframed our approach
- Successfully raised our first round.
- Our CrewLAB family expands with John, Mitchell and Aiden joining.
- CrewLAB platform officially launched with 20+ teams.
- CrewLAB goes full-time and the first pay-check is sent out. 💸
2023
- Successfully raised our second round.
- Partnered with USRowing.
- CrewLAB platform goes global.
- Expanded to include Track, Cross Country and Swim teams
- CrewLAB launched LabCats.
- 75+ teams use CrewLAB (with our Beta Test team UCLA Mens Rowing winning ACRA National Champs!)
2024
- Finished our pre-seed round.
- Launched our Forever Free plan for the CrewLAB platform.
- Grete and Ashley joined the CrewLAB family.
- 400+ teams now use CrewLAB.
- Partnered with Garmin, Concept2 and WeRideTogether.

- We welcome you to the CrewLAB family.
