You’re here to support your child’s participation — registering them for programs, signing waivers, making payments, and staying informed about the team. This guide covers everything you need as a parent using a sports team app to manage your child’s experience on CrewLAB.
Creating a Parent Account
Download the sports team app from the App Store or Google Play, or sign up at app.crewlab.io. If your club has sent you a registration link, tap that first — it will walk you through account creation and connect you to the right program automatically.
CrewLAB supports parent-child linked accounts. Create your own account and link it to your child’s profile. This gives you the ability to:
- Register your child for programs on their behalf
- Sign waivers as a legal guardian
- Make payments for registration, camps, and dues
- View the team calendar and schedule
- Receive communications from the club
What Parents Can See in the Sports Team App
Parent accounts are designed to give you the information you need. You’ll see the team schedule, payment status, and club-wide announcements.
You won’t see your child’s daily check-in data, workout details, or private coaching feedback — that stays between the athlete and their coach. This boundary is intentional and helps maintain trust between coaches and athletes.
Registering Your Child
When your club opens registration for a season, camp, or event, you’ll receive a link or a notification in the sports team app. The registration flow walks you through selecting the program, confirming your child’s details, signing any required waivers, and making a payment.
Once registered, you’ll see the program in the sports team app and your payment status is tracked automatically. You can view receipts and payment history at any time under your profile.
Payments and Receipts for Parents
When you make a payment through CrewLAB, you’ll receive a receipt via email. You can also view your full payment history in the app under your profile. CrewLAB accepts credit cards, debit cards, ACH bank transfers, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
If your club offers payment plans or installments, you’ll see upcoming payment dates and amounts in the app. Payments are processed securely through Stripe — CrewLAB never stores your card information.
Staying Informed as a Parent
Your club’s communication channels will keep you updated on schedule changes, events, and important announcements. Make sure your notification settings are turned on for the channels that matter to you.
Some clubs create a dedicated parent communication channel for logistics, volunteer coordination, and club announcements. If your club has one, you’ll see it in your messaging tab. The sports team app keeps parents connected without cluttering the athlete-facing channels.
